Haneefah

Haneefah is the portfolio website of Haneefah Usmani, an artist and graduate in graphic arts specialising in Islamic art. Her practice encompasses illumination, geometry, and miniature painting, informed by formal study and continued exploration of traditional techniques.

The website needed to present highly detailed, delicate artwork without distraction. Layouts and typography were designed to remain understated, allowing the work itself to take prominence while supporting contextual explanation of process and influence.

The final site provides a calm, considered digital space that reflects the artist's practice. It supports ongoing experimentation and refinement while honouring the themes of beauty, craftsmanship, and imagination that define her work.
